Our story began on December 19, 2006 in Mauritius, when Jonathann Savigny, after a distinguished stint with some of the biggest private banks and asset managers in Europe and Mauritius, decided to found LS Advisors to offer his clients the benefit of his expertise in asset management and investment advice. His aim is to make his profession a passion shared by all his colleagues.

In 2011, Jonathann met up with his former business partner Yann Robbiola, former head of Merrill Lynch's trading room in France, who was on long-term leave in Mauritius at the time. They decided to join forces and set up LS Advisors France, a company licensed locally as a Conseiller en Investissement Financier, to serve a European clientele. With this new French office, LS Advisors expands its range of activities and services to include Luxembourg life insurance, structured products and private equity.

In 2012, LS Advisors obtained its collective asset management license from the Financial Services Commission (FSC), the organization that regulates non-bank financial institutions in Mauritius. The FSC was set up in 2001 on the basis of the UK Financial Service Authority model.

In 2014, LS Advisors decided to take part for the first time in the Patrimonia trade show, the benchmark annual event for the wealth management and asset management professions in France.

As early as 2017, LS Advisors received its first international awards as “Best Distributor” and “Best Structured Products Performance in Mauritius”. Honors the company will also receive in 2019, while being named among the top 3 distributors in Africa for international distribution of structured products.

Technology and innovation are an integral part of the DNA of LS Advisors, whose mission is to offer ease of management and total transparency to its customers. That's why, in 2019, our company developed Lassie, a digital platform for open-architecture structured products.

Less than a year later, LS Advisors won the Grand Prix de la Philanthropie for its Lassie technology platform, alongside Gandee, the leading generosity platform.

Impact of COVID-19: The pandemic continued to disrupt financial markets, with significant fluctuations and persistent economic uncertainty.

We turned our attention to digitalization, enhancing our Lassie platform and adding a Private Equity module.

With geopolitical changes, international tensions have had an impact on financial markets, requiring proactive risk management. We have innovated with the redesign of our Structured Products newsletter, the Dodo Futé, our flagship animal in Mauritius, which offers our customers a cross-sectional view of the asset class and greater transparency on the market conditions required to launch structured products.
